Program: Luxembourgers in Edgewater

In addition, the museum is featuring a special exhibit, “Growing Community: Luxembourgers in Edgewater,” which highlights the Luxembourger migration to the Edgewater area and the Luxembourgers’ unique economic activities and cultural institutions. The exhibit is the result of a partnership between Loyola University Chicago, the Edgewater Historical Society, and the Luxembourg Cultural Society of America. Five Loyola students under the supervision of Prof. Brad Hunt researched and produced the exhibit, which will be on display through the end of 2025.
