DESCRIPTION:The Edgewater Historical Society will be presenting a program that I believe will be of interest to you: \nProgram: Luxembourgers in Edgewater\nSpeaker: John Holden\, President of the Edgewater Historical Society\nDate & Time: Friday\, September 26th\, 6:00–9:00 PM\n(Talk begins at 7:00 PM) \nLocation: Edgewater Historical Society Museum\n5358 N. Ashland Ave.\, Chicago \nRefreshments: Wine\, cheese\, and crackers will be served. \nIn addition\, the museum is featuring a special exhibit\, “Growing Community: Luxembourgers in Edgewater\,” which highlights the Luxembourger migration to the Edgewater area and the Luxembourgers’ unique economic activities and cultural institutions. The exhibit is the result of a partnership between Loyola University Chicago\, the Edgewater Historical Society\, and the Luxembourg Cultural Society of America. Five Loyola students under the supervision of Prof. Brad Hunt researched and produced the exhibit\, which will be on display through the end of 2025.
